This is the story of Teagan and Jesse。 And what a entertaining story it was。 I laughed and giggled through the story。 I loved the snark of Teagan and the different take on werewolves and how they get their mates。 So so entertaining。 I found it hard to put down and had to see how Jessie would win Teagan in spite of herself。 And the other character in the story added to all the fun。 Cannot wait to see what happens next。

I’ve read a lot of werewolf books but this was a first for me where the concept was so different。 It’s almost unbelievable that Lola Glass opened up a whole new way of looking into the werewolf world。 This new concept was intriguing and very well written。 Ended on a cliffhanger setting up for the next character story which I can’t wait to read！ Loved it！ This book was also more about using your brain than brute strength too。

4。5 stars。 Teagan， the female human lead， is kidnapped from her sandwich shop job by what look like a group of football players when one starts making strange noises whilst she’s making their sandwiches。 Jesse， the male lead， changes into a wolf and she’s given the basic rundown （as is the reader） of what to expect from here。 But she’s still got school to attend and a life that she doesn’t plan to give up just because some werewolf decided she’s his mate…This story is female lead POV， well writt 4。5 stars。 Teagan， the female human lead， is kidnapped from her sandwich shop job by what look like a group of football players when one starts making strange noises whilst she’s making their sandwiches。 Jesse， the male lead， changes into a wolf and she’s given the basic rundown （as is the reader） of what to expect from here。 But she’s still got school to attend and a life that she doesn’t plan to give up just because some werewolf decided she’s his mate…This story is female lead POV， well written， and a clever take on werewolf conversion romance。 I really enjoyed the banter between characters and the value of secondary character relationships。 I enjoyed the character and relationship development throughout。 The author first released this in Vella and the end of this story leads directly into the next one。 I hope she keeps going with this series - I found it quite unique and amusing。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
